grayson bainbridge LPC-A
You have taken a difficult and brave step seeking therapeutic care. Now that you are here, Grayson looks forward to connecting with you! Grayson strives to provide an open and supportive atmosphere to aid in bridging the gap between your life today and the life you are looking to create for yourself. She approaches her work with clients with curiosity, warmth, authenticity and humor, alongside her passion for supporting individuals on their trek through all of life’s unique challenges. It is Grayson’s belief that the therapeutic process can be transformative for so many in their journey towards healing, connectedness, and self-discovery. She believes that her role as a therapist is to collaborate and accompany her clients as a “copilot” through their experiences of change in a nonjudgmental way, knowing that you are the expert in your own life and already possess the inner strengths to navigate challenges given a safe and trustworthy environment.
While Grayson welcomes everyone’s individual needs and stages of life, she has experience and expertise working with adults, young adults, teens and members of our LBGTQIA+ community across a variety of topics including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, panic, emotional dysregulation, low self-esteem, sleep issues, relationship stressors, and other life transitions. Using a holistic and eclectic approach to therapy, Grayson utilizes a person-centered, strengths-based view, pulling tools from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. She provides evidence-based, inclusive care to each of her clients, meeting you exactly where you are.
Grayson is a Charleston native from James Island and enjoys all the Lowcountry has to offer. She graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree from Clemson University in 2018. She then went on to earn a Masters in Psychology with a focus on Clinical Counseling from The Citadel in 2023. When Grayson is not with Guided Healing, you can find her volunteering with animal rescues, spending quality time with family, striking up a conversation with a stranger, or sitting in the sun with a feel-good book. Grayson believes therapy should serve as a safe place to challenge yourself to become the best version of you. Let Grayson help you pave that path and lead you back to you.
